What is Dinner Dating?
Dinner dating is the most traditional way singles get to know each other because it works. It’s not smart to go to a stranger’s home for a first date these days and movies don’t allow you to get to know someone.
A dinner date is the time for singles to focus on each other, not a screen, friends or other distractions…(i.e. cell phones!) Dinner dates are a time for romance and exploration of the deeper depths of the person you want to get to know. What do they like and dislike. Do you both have the same idea of what a good time is? What did they spend their summer doing and can you ever see yourself spending your precious vacation time on them?
How Does a Dinner Date Work?
Instead of the pressure of a one-on-one meeting or date, Group Dating in DC organizes a dinner date event for our single members. Our events are not like It's Just Lunch, Hurry Date or Speed Dating, we work hard at planning events for our singles by setting up group dinner dating along with a hostess that will meet you at your event. The hostess will introduce the group, arrange seating, and ensure a separate check at the end of the evening.
Four single men and Four single women meet for friendly conversation, dinner, and the chance to increase their circle of friends. Each dinner dating party takes on a life of its own and the net result is always a great evening out. Our events are organized in DC (NW), Bethesda (MD), and Arlington (VA).
Why Do a Dinner Date?
Some people might wonder why they should go on dinner dates instead of going out with a group of friends, to an event, or seeing a movie. While those are great ideas for a date with someone you have become comfortable with, dinner dating is the best for singles still getting to know each other.
